Bruce Guadalupe Community School offers a five week summer academic program for K5 - 8th grade students. This program is designed to strengthen and enrich student academic performance in the core areas of reading, writing, science, & mathematics.
Summer Session hours are from 8 a.m. - 12 p.m., Monday through Thursday, with smaller group sessions on Friday.
The United Community Center also offers a Summer Recreation Program to students during the five week Summer Session program. The program runs from 12 p.m. - 4 p.m. and lunch is provided for the students. The Summer Recreation Program offers students hand-on experiences through science projects, Children's Reading Cafe, golf, tennis, fishing, sailing, swimming, and a variety of field trips.
